TechTogether+ 2023

This autumn's TechTogether+ one-day engineering competition took place on 17 October at the Eiffel Workshop House in Budapest, with a total of 14 teams and 17 companies present.

We received the first tasks in the second week of September, so we solved 14 different tasks in just over a month. The majority of the presentations and documentation to be delivered were driven by our IT engineering students, our mechanical and automotive engineering students and our economics students.

The teams followed a strict schedule to know when and at which company they were supposed to appear. The presentations on stage went on in parallel with the company tasks.

At the end of the day, a special prize was awarded by SZTAKI for our team having best completed the task they had assigned. The task they had sent out in advance was: the teams had to show how sustainability and the circular economy are reflected in their work, development and goals over the last 12 months. During their presentation, our Chief Engineer and Management Group Lead highlighted the test specimens they produced in February for their work, the 3D printed paddle shifter for their extensions, and a biodegradable resin technology for their future goals.

The competition was also attended by our newcomer members, who gave very positive feedback on their first TechTogether competition.
